We Are Holy & Unblameable In God's Sight

“For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.” Hebrews 7:19

The Ten Commandments and religious laws have never made anyone perfect. No one has ever been made perfect in the sight of God by not stealing, by not lying, by not coveting, by not committing adultery, by not killing, by keeping a Sabbath day, by honoring their parents, by not having other God’s, by not making graven images, or by not using the Lord’s Name in vain! We aren’t made holy and perfect by eating only certain foods, going to certain buildings, or by washing things in a certain way! We aren’t made holy by wearing certain clothes or by wearing our hair in a certain way, but we are made perfect and draw nigh to God by the hope of Jesus Christ! The hope of Christ makes us perfect in the eyes of God, and to insure that those who have accepted Jesus have such a perfecting hope, God has given us His Holy Spirit, to dwell within us, to strengthen us, and to encourage us so that we may abound in hope, and thus we may abound in God’s perfection! “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:13

The Holy Ghost has empowered us to abound in perfection because the God of hope has filled us with all joy and peace in believing His Word! Through God we now have peace that Jesus’ sacrifice was strong enough to perfect us. Through God we now have joy in the Truth that the Blood of our Savior has removed every obstacle that stood in our way. Through the Spirit of God we now abound in hope and His hope brings the perfection that religious laws never could! Through the power of God within us we are now perfect and since we are, we will walk as He walked, in perfection, in love, in service, in hope, in peace, in joy, in confidence, in knowledge, in wisdom, and in faith! We will walk as Jesus walked, because we have been given the very Spirit that He had which allowed Him to be Who He was! We just cannot preach this Truth enough; we should walk as Jesus, because we have been empowered with the same power of Jesus, the Holy Ghost of the Living God. We should walk like Jesus, because we have the same Father as Jesus, we all have been born of God’s Incorruptible Seed. We should walk like Jesus because we have the same mind as Jesus; we now have the mind of Christ. We can walk like Jesus because His hope has perfected us, as He is perfect. If the Vine is perfect so are the Vines branches perfect! “He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.” 1 John 2:6
