12 His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand.
- Our eyes are the window to our souls and Jesus’ eyes flame like fire. So we are shown the Truth that He is filled with and One with the Holy Spirit. He is filled and One with the power of our Father.
- Jesus has many kingly crowns, so He is King of everything and every body. Jesus has been given all flesh, all people, and all things. What's cool about this Truth is that it means that He has been given the responsibility over all things. Jesus Shepherds all things and He is One Great Shepherd.
- Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through and by Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist]. 1 Corinthians 8:6
- For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. Colossians 1:16
- For it was an act worthy [of God] and fitting [to the divine nature] that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering. Hebrews 2:10
- Jesus has a Name that only He understands. This shows us that only Jesus is Lord. He alone has succeeded in securing our salvation and He alone is the Head of all things.
13 He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God.
14 And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses.
- Then Jesus said to him, Put your sword back into its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will immediately provide Me with more than twelve legions [more than 80,000] of angels? Matthew 26:52-53
- We are not the troops of Heaven, we are the Bride of Christ. There are angels who protect and defend us. Michael the Arc Angel is also known as the Warring Angel.
- And he said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, He will give His angels charge over you, and they will bear you up on their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone. Matthew 4:6
- For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory (majesty, splendor) of His Father with His angels, and then He will render account and reward every man in accordance with what he has done. Matthew 16:27
- When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. Matthew 25:31
