Revelation 20:6

6 Blessed (happy, to be envied) and holy (spiritually whole, of unimpaired innocence and proved virtue) is the person who takes part (shares) in the first resurrection! Over them the second death exerts no power or authority, but they shall be ministers of God and of Christ (the Messiah), and they shall rule along with Him a thousand years.
  • The Bride has nothing to worry about on Judgment Day, which will take place 1000 years after Jesus physically returns to the earth.
  • Think about it, we will be changed to be just like Jesus when He returns, 1 John 3:2 tells us that we will be and we are told here is verse 6 that we will rule with Him for a thousand years. So if we were judged on Judgment Day we would have to give up being just like Jesus and go and stand before the Judgment Seat. That isn’t what will happen.
  • We are now Jesus’ body, flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. Jesus was a man as well, is He going to be judged? Absolutely not, He will be the Chief Judge on Judgment Day, John 5:22, and we are now one with Him.
  • In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17
  • I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life. John 5:24
  • What happens on Judgment Day is that we will actually judge people with our Lord. And we will judge just as Jesus judged on the Cross, with Mercy and Grace in spite of what those in front of us have done.
  • And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they divided His garments and distributed them by casting lots for them. Luke 23:24
  • Take note! I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and learn and acknowledge that I have loved you. Revelation 3:9
  • I also love the fact that we are told that we are spiritually whole, innocent, and virtuous, so that we don’t have to worry about Judgment Day. We are all of these things because of Jesus’ Grace. All of these things are just a free gift and freely we have received them and freely we will give them.
  • Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give. Matthew 10:8
