Revelation 19:3

3 And again they shouted, Hallelujah (praise the Lord)! The smoke of her [burning] shall continue to ascend forever and ever (through the eternities of the eternities).
  • The smoke of her burning, remember that her is Babylon, the Great Whore, the Harlot. It does not say here the smoke of sinners burning, but the worlds system that caused grief and division to us.
  • Here is a great place to study what the Bible actually tells us about Hell and humans.
  • For God did not [even] spare angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in pits of gloom till the judgment and their doom. 2 Peter 2:4
  • Then death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Revelation 20:13
  • For the Son of man came to save [from the penalty of eternal death] that which was lost.  Matthew 18:11
  • Hell was created for the fallen angels and for death, not for humans. Jesus came to save the lost, not to throw them into Hell to suffer forever and ever. So ask yourself this question: was Jesus successful or not?
  • Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men. Romans 5:18
  • Jesus has been given control over all flesh, John 17:2 and because He has, He will give eternal life to all that He has and the good news for us is that Jesus has us all.
  • But what if someone can be thrown into Hell, many believe this, what will happen to them, would they suffer forever or would they just cease to be?
  • But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs [that is consumed in smoke] and as the glory of the pastures. They shall vanish; like smoke shall they consume away. Psalm 37:20
  • Behold, they are like stubble; the fire consumes them. They cannot even deliver themselves from the power of the flame [much less deliver the nation]. There is no coal for warming or fire before which to sit! Isaiah 47:14
  • Such people will pay the penalty and suffer the punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 2 Thessalonians 1:9
  • Our Father is omnipotent, so the only way to be cast out of His presence is to cease to be. So if someone could be thrown into Hell, they would just cease to be, Just as the fallen angels will and just as Hades and death will just cease to be.
