Revelation 19:4-7

4 Then the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] and the four living creatures fell prostrate and worshiped [paying divine honors to] God, Who sits on the throne, saying, Amen! Hallelujah (praise the Lord)!
  • They will rejoice because the evils of the world will be destroyed and they rejoice because these ways of living will never return.
  • They will rejoice because the love of money will cease to be.
  • They will rejoice because Jesus will be physically present for all to enjoy and be part of and He will empower and lead people to seek the well being of others above themselves.
  • They will rejoice not because those who were against us are destroyed, but because they are finally being enlightened to know the Truth that will set them free, Revelation 3:9.
5 Then from the throne there came a voice, saying, Praise our God, all you servants of His, you who reverence Him, both small and great!
6 After that I heard what sounded like the shout of a vast throng, like the boom of many pounding waves, and like the roar of terrific and mighty peals of thunder, exclaiming, Hallelujah (praise the Lord)! For now the Lord our God the Omnipotent (the All-Ruler) reigns!
  • Jesus rules everything right now. The world doesn’t realize this Truth, but when He physically returns to the earth they will.
  • For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. Colossians 1:16
  • [Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. John 17:2
  • And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], Ephesians 1:22
7 Let us rejoice and shout for joy [exulting and triumphant]! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb [at last] has come, and His bride has prepared herself.
  • We are shown here the Marriage Supper, the eternal celebration of Jesus' victory.
  • Think about how boring a wedding celebration would be if it were only the bride and groom? There is a time for the Bride and Groom to share intimacy, but the celebration is for everyone.
  • For a celebration to be fun, there has to be others there, and this Celebration is no exception, we will have guests.
  • And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. Matthew 22:10
  • After the Great Tribulation is the time of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. We are told that the celebration clearly happens after Babylon has fallen, after all of the seals have been opened, after the trumpets have sounded, and after the plagues have been released. Notice that the voices from Heaven sing at last the Bride has prepared herself, at last the time for the supper is at hand. The Great Tribulation is coming to an end, and we are shown the inhabitants of Heaven glorifying God because the Marriage Supper, the celebration and party will have finally arrived.
